How does HowZya work?
HowZya connects you with neighbours in your exact suburb. All posts are only visible to people who live in the same suburb as you.
Can I follow more than one suburb?
Yes, you can select up to 5 suburbs — a Primary plus four others. Posts from all your active suburbs appear together in your feed.
Who can see my posts?
Only verified residents of your suburb can see your posts. Your email is kept private and is never shown to other users.
How do I report a post or user?
Tap the three-dot menu on any post and choose Report, or use the Report a Problem option in Settings. Our moderation team reviews all reports promptly.
How do I block someone?
Open their profile and tap Block, or use the Block option from the menu on any of their posts. You can unblock them any time from Settings.
Is HowZya free to use?
Yes, HowZya is completely free to use, with no ads and no hidden costs.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings, scroll to Account Actions and tap Delete Account. You can also email us at support@howzya.com.
I forgot my password — what do I do?
On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password?" and enter your email to receive a reset link.
